Synsemble

Privacy policy

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Synsemble brings multiple AI roles together to plan, analyze, execute, review, revise, and produce a final result. It is a multi-agent collaboration app, not an audio meeting recorder or transcription service. Your sessions are stored locally, but content used in AI requests is sent to your configured providers.

1. Information You Provide

Synsemble may process information that you enter or add to the app, including:

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The app stores session data in Android app-private storage, including:

This local data remains on your device unless you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

3. API Keys

You supply your own API keys for OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic. On Android, saved credentials are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key managed by Android Keystore. This protects stored credentials; it does not mean all session files are encrypted or that provider requests are end-to-end encrypted.

API keys authenticate requests to the relevant provider, including model refresh. The interface shows Saved or Not saved instead of displaying a stored key. Replacement fields start empty. Stored credentials and authorization headers are excluded from user-visible Activity and transcript-copy output.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

Synsemble uses your selected AI provider to generate responses. Depending on your selected provider, model, settings, and session content, the app may send prompts, conversation context, generated content, artifacts, attachments, or attachment content to one or more of these providers:

These providers process data according to their own policies and terms. You should review them before using your API keys with the app:

5. Data Sharing

The app shares data with the AI provider you choose only as needed to provide AI responses, file processing, model refresh, or related AI session features.

The current mobile app does not use a developer-operated backend server. Provider requests are made from the app to the selected third-party AI provider.

The developer does not sell personal data.

If you copy a transcript or open an attachment in another app, that content leaves Synsemble's private interface through your device's clipboard or the selected app. Protect exported or copied information accordingly.

6. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

Third-party AI providers may retain or process submitted data according to their own policies, account settings, and terms.

Deleting a local table or attachment does not automatically delete content or uploaded files already held by a provider. Use that provider's account controls or support process for provider-side deletion.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete local data by:

Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes app-private local sessions, transcripts, artifacts, logs, attachments, settings, and locally stored API keys.

This does not revoke the API keys at the provider, delete original files you imported, or erase copies you saved outside the app. Revoke a key through the provider if you no longer want it to be usable.

8. Children

Synsemble is not directed to children. Users should only use the app and third-party AI providers if they meet the age and account requirements for those providers and for Google Play in their region.

9. Security

Synsemble uses Android app-private storage for local app data and Android Keystore-backed encryption for saved API keys. Network requests to AI providers use HTTPS with certificate verification. The app does not bypass verification to resolve connection errors.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. You should protect your device, API keys, and provider accounts.

10. International Users

If you use third-party AI providers, your data may be processed in countries where those providers operate. Their handling of submitted data is governed by their own policies and terms.

11. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
